ZL2THO Jeff advised that he was looking out for
a suitable replacement copier for the Society.

ZL2THO Jeff explained the delay in Rakon
despatching the STSP xtals. They misplaced our
cheque.

Arising from
correspondence: It was moved by Barry ZL2RR and seconded by John ZL2JEL that the Society send a cheque in the amount
of $150 to NZART to
cover this years three repeater licence fees and that this be promulgated
via Break-In. Carried with one
abstention.

Repeater reports:
690: Leo ZL2BGE commented on the recent DayBreaker Rally use of
the
690 repeater. E calls were ocassionally used. He showed a computer generated
log of the day’s activity through the
repeater
STSP: Jeff ZL2THO reported the xtals are made and will be shipped shortly.
Jim
ZL2KR has the repeater ready.
National System Project Report: Mike ZL1BNB
reported progress on the controller wiring and testing now that the new
software has arrived. He answered some questions from the floor re
antennas and the recent trials.
General
Business:
1. President Jim ZL2KR informed the meeting of Bob ZL2AAQ and Eunice Jeffers 50 years of
marriage.
2. Robert Jackson ZL2JAC, our visitor asked for members’ advice in
procuring a suitable rig in
NZ.
3. David ZL2MA
reported a smaller attendance at the recent Br20 Junk Sale.
4. Mike ZL1BNB asked members if they had sent their extra
submissions on the North Shore
District Plan.

Jason ZL2FT noted that the local marine VHF channel is now
ch85 161.875MHz.
