Added meeting minutes for March 2009
Reworked the HTML/CSS code for the left menu bar. That cut it's size from 8k to 3k.

Change the counter to one that works on my test-bed server.
Some other minor changes to colours, added underline on mouse-over on links etc.

Added "mouse over" colour change on links. Also cell background colour change on mouse over on left menu bar.
Fixed a few broken links that I found caused by the revamp of the site. Fixed/removed all(?) the broken links on this page from the same cause!
Fixed error on 1948 Junk Sale photo, had 1949....opps.

Replaced 2005 Junk sale photos with slightly higher resolution versions.

Last of meeting minutes have gone up. Some of these pages may have broken links to other pages on ZL2JA.org,nz, as some pages have been moved or even removed.
Fixed up some errors made when redoing index menus

Started work on re-doing the "back-end" ie, the menu system of the web site. (Chiefly removing the framing method of indexing).
Also redoing the colour scheme, some reformatting, etc, as I go.

"Quote/Joke of the day" stopped working! Seems the syntax I was using, after all these years, is no longer valid. Changed to another syntax, all working again.

Changed online counter from "Motigo Webstats" to "Statcounter", Because the former's use of "pop-ups" and "pop-unders" A shame, as we've been with them a number of years and have a lot of log history...

Added automatic Quote/Joke randomizer to main page. Which meant a name change from "main_1.html" to "main.shml" (Removing the "_1" from the name was just some tidying up).
"Fixed" broken (capitals/lower case problem) return to Junk Sale photo page index links.
Removed NZ web ring box from the main page. It was slow loading, didn't fit with the over look of the page, and besides, I haven't seen a single visitor from it in the log files!

There's been a bit of a re-work of the National System repeater frequencies, and Wanganui's repeater will now be on 439.875 MHz. (Was 438.825)

Found that most of the ZL2JA/NZART logo links to the front page had the wrong target frame set, which resulted in two left hand navibars being displayed. (if there was one to start with when clicking the logo) A side affect of the link reworking done back on 10/04/2005. (see below) All fixed now, I hope.

AM: Highlighted the Junk Sale notice more on the home page.
Expanded the " About ZL2JA.ORG.NZ " page with a little more info.
Added the " Repeaters Page " More info and pictures to come.
PM: Found that at 600x800 display sizes that the left navi bar did not have a scroll bar, thus visitors would not be able to click thru to some pages. :-( .....Fixed!
ZL2JA.ORG.NZ checked at 600x800 pixels on Firefox , NS, & IE.
Looks ok for now, but is easily broken!
Evening: Gosh I am busy today! Fixed some broken links and graphics. Updated links page.

Re-did all (I hope!) the " Back to the ZL2JA Homepage" links at the foot of each page to point back to "index.html" rather than "main_1.html"
The logs show a fair bit of traffic coming via search engines, and the likes, linking directly to pages within ZL2JA's site. These pages would be minus the left hand side links menu, even after clicking on the "home" link.
Now, if, or when, a visitor clicks "home", the full front page plus the links menu will load.

The main reason to pull the QSL Net files, was that most of the search engines were still listing www.qsl.net/zl2ja ahead of www.zl2ja.org.nz

More re(dis?)organizing the web site files, ie putting all the graphic files into their own directory. And having to redo all the links as result for the other pages
Did some other minor tidying up the file structure.
Removed obsolete files. Change the colour of a graphic bottom.
Web page formatting wasn't looking too hot at 800x600 screen res. Managed to more or less fix this.
